Job summary

Cape Electrical Supply is seeking a dependable warehouse associate to receive, store, select, pack, and distribute inventory in a Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm schedule. Starting pay is $16.00 per hour, with compensation based on experience.

Responsibilities include lifting, operating light warehouse equipment, maintaining a clean, safe work area, unloading vehicles, and accurately storing and packing orders. Delivery duties may be required using a light van.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.

Compensation Details

The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $16.00 per hour depending on experience.

Typical Functions

• Perform any and all physical requirements necessary to lift and move inventory around the warehouse.
• Operate and maneuver warehouse equipment and any material(s) contained thereon in the manner consistent with the intended purpose of the equipment and the manufacturers' instructions.
• Maintain the warehouse in an orderly and clean state; follow all Company safety procedures; perform daily safety inspections.
• Unload delivery vehicles, accurately identifying material, breaking down material, and noting discrepancies.
• Accurately store product to the proper location following the outlined process; the use of light equipment may be required.
• Select and pack customer orders following the outlined process; ensure conformance to customer standards and expectations.
• May perform Delivery Driver duties as needed; operate a light van or delivery vehicle to deliver customer orders; ensure that customers orders are delivered to meet customer expectations.
