Job summary

Cape Electrical Supply, a Missouri-based distributor, is seeking a part-time Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver for operations in Poplar Bluff. You will receive, store, select, pack, and distribute inventory and may perform delivery duties to meet customer needs, in a safety-conscious environment.

Typical shifts are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 1:00pm, with pay starting at $15.00 per hour depending on experience. Steel-toed boots and a Class E license with DOT medical exam are required.

• Receive, store, select, pack, and distribute warehouse inventory.
• Operate and maneuver warehouse equipment according to manufacturer instructions.
• Unload delivery vehicles and identify material, noting discrepancies.
• Store products in proper locations and pack customer orders to meet standards.
• May perform delivery duties with a light van to meet customer expectations.
• May perform assembly duties as needed.

Typical Functions

• Perform any and all physical requirements necessary to lift and move inventory around the warehouse.
• Operate and maneuver warehouse equipment and any material(s) contained thereon in the manner consistent with the intended purpose of the equipment and the manufacturers’ instructions.
• Maintain the warehouse in an orderly and clean state; follow all Company safety procedures; perform daily safety inspections.
• Unload delivery vehicles, accurately identifying material, breaking down material, and noting discrepancies.
• Accurately store product to the proper location following the outlined process; the use of light equipment may be required.
• Select and pack customer orders following the outlined process; ensure conformance to customer standards and expectations.
• May perform Delivery Driver duties as needed; operate a light van or delivery vehicle to deliver customer orders; ensure that customers orders are delivered to meet customer expectations.
• May perform assembly duties as needed

The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $15.00 per hour depending on experience.
