Job summary

TAL Building Centers is looking for a customer-focused sales associate to assist homeowners and pros across our building centers. You will guide customers through product selections, provide estimates for small projects, and support the sales team to grow existing accounts.

Qualifications

• Minimum education of High School or equivalent.
• 1–2 years sales experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to work as a team and communicate effectively.
• Good understanding of contractor sales process.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools and Point of Sale Programs.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist, and service all customers to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Understand basic product categories to answer questions and recommend items for customers' projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing customers and address their needs promptly.
• Assist with orders, payments, returns and larger quotes as directed by the sales team.
• Keep showroom, samples, and literature current and stock shelves with incoming merchandise.
