Airgas in Cedar Rapids, IA seeks a Counter Sales Associate to assist customers and advise on tools, hardware, and materials for projects. You will process orders, demonstrate equipment use, and help customers choose the best solutions in a fast-paced industrial setting.

This role offers weekday hours with no weekend work and a comprehensive benefits package. A HS diploma and 1+ year retail experience are required; forklift experience and POS familiarity are a plus.

Qualificações

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1+ years in a retail or customer service environment.
• Forklift experience required, with training provided on hire.
• Drug-free workplace.
• Able to move items up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Excellent customer service and fast-paced environment adaptability.
• Basic math and computer tools, including POS systems.

Responsabilidades

• Assist customers with industrial gases, welding equipment, and supplies.
• Advise customers on tools and procedures for projects.
• Demonstrate equipment use and product quality insights.
• Process orders, coding, costing, and pricing paperwork accurately.
• Coordinate communication with customers and team for costs and delivery.
• Maintain showroom displays and stock shelves.
