Job summary

Higginbotham Brothers in Texas is seeking a Counter Sales Representative to assist customers and contractors with the sales process, take orders over the counter, and process payments. You will greet customers, answer questions, prepare invoices, manage showrooms, maintain stock, and support deliveries and installations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of building material knowledge and sales experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with questions, pricing, and promotions.
• Process sales at the cash register and handle payments.
• Provide product guidance, quotes, deliveries, and follow-ups.
• Maintain showroom presentation and stock levels.
• Prepare invoices and input orders into the system.
• Support inventory and participate in trainings as needed.
