Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Manager – Counter Sales in Denver, CO to lead the counter sales function and drive sales and gross profit. You will supervise multiple full-time staff, service customer will call orders, and maintain pricing accuracy while building supplier relations.

The role requires 5+ years in warehouse, counter sales, or customer service, strong leadership, and physical ability to lift up to 70 pounds. Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, counter sales, or customer service; 5+ years.
• High school diploma or GED; 4-year degree preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and operate warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Sell merchandise to customers and assist with pickup orders.
• Maintain pricing accuracy per company policy and report deviations.
• Forecast counter potential and set annual sales and gross margin objectives.
• Develop programs to locate, attract, and open new counter accounts.
• Train counter sales staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Support management in supplier relationships to deliver great service.
