Job summary

The Granite Group in Vermont is seeking a detail-oriented Counter Sales Associate with HVAC or plumbing knowledge. You will assist customers, answer questions, and help with product selections while using a computer for transactions and inventory tasks.

You will greet customers, make product recommendations, process sales, and keep shelves stocked. The role requires strong customer service, adaptability, and weekend/evening flexibility.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in plumbing/heating/HVAC trades
• 3+ years in plumbing/heating/HVAC wholesale
• 1+ year selling HVAC and Minisplit systems
• 3+ years in sales
• 1+ year in warehousing
• Bilingual or multilingual

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with product inquiries and purchases.
• Recommend products based on customer needs and preferences.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Provide information on product features, pricing, and availability.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and targets.
