Responsibilities

• Provide service to customers at the counter by taking orders, entering them into the system accurately and filling them as time allows; prioritizing regular accounts.
• Accept payment for merchandise, cash or approved credit line.
• Keep counter area stocked and tidy; rotate inventory as needed.
• Maintain a library of current catalogs and literature for customers.
• Assist with promotions and product recommendations to customers.
• Promote and sell overages, damaged and discontinued items.
• Support warehouse staff during slower counter times and assist with phone inquiries.
