Job summary

Higginbotham Brothers, a Division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, is seeking a Counter Sales Representative to assist customers over the counter, process payments, and provide product recommendations in a retail environment.

You will greet customers, answer questions about merchandise, process sales, and maintain accurate records and invoicing while ensuring store presentation and stock are up to standard.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with questions about merchandise, locations, pricing, and promotions.
• Process sales through cash register and accept various payment methods.
• Provide initial responses to inquiries about product selection, pricing, and delivery scheduling.
• Assist showroom customers with product selection using proper forms for accurate records.
• Maintain accurate invoices, work orders, and input data into the computer system.
• Ensure correct cash levels, totals, and refunds/credits with manager approval when needed.
• Maintain showroom appearance and stock levels on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
• Participate in physical inventory and uphold workplace safety policies.
