Job summary

Bosch-HomeComfort in Johnson City, TN is seeking a friendly Counter Sales Associate to greet customers, assist with inquiries, and process transactions at the sales counter. You will maintain a clean area, demonstrate product knowledge, handle payments, restock, support inventory, and collaborate with the team while upholding company policies and delivering a positive shopping experience.

Flexibility for forklift training is provided and regular attendance is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of retail or customer service experience.

We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Counter Sales Associate to join our team in Johnson City, Tn. As a Counter Sales Associate, you will be the face of our company, providing exceptional service to our valued customers and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of retail or customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• HVAC knowledge preferred
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
• Proficiency in operating Point of Sale (POS) systems
• In-depth product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn about our product line
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly and supportive attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
• Basic computer skills and attention to detail
• Team player with a collaborative mindset
• Problem-solving skills to address customer concerns effectively
• Inventory management skills
• Willingness to become forklift certified (training provided)
• Regular attendance and punctuality are vital for success in this role
