Job summary

Churchill Downs Incorporated in Erie, PA seeks a Count Room Assistant Manager to lead the Drop/Count team, ensure compliance with PGCB regulations, and oversee all drop/count activities across gaming areas. You will train staff, manage schedules, and maintain accuracy of funds and vouchers.

Ideal candidates have prior Drop/Count experience, high school diploma, and strong math, reading, and computer skills. This on-site role offers benefits and growth within the Count Room team.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Able to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Must possess intermediate PC skills and Microsoft Office experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain PA Gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Drop/Count Team on shift and ensure policy compliance.
• Manage schedules, resolve conflicts, and train new staff.
• Oversee replenishment, service, and verification of gaming voucher machines.
• Count and drop funds from lottery, slot, table games, and kiosks.
• Collaborate with Count Room Manager on staffing and improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
