POSITION SUMMARY
Manages the collection and proper counting of games’ cash boxes from the gaming floor. Manages and ensures proper and accurate record keeping and the storage of all gaming-related records and forms. Manages the cash and voucher count conducted in the count room in accordance with company Internal Control Policies and Procedures as well as state regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Comply with company policies, Internal Controls, gaming regulations, BSA/Title 31 requirements, and other applicable laws.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports.
- Communicate effectively with team members, leadership, and regulatory personnel.
- Resolve operational issues and escalation concerns as appropriate.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The following statements are intended as an overview of key responsibilities of the work for this position and are not all inclusive:
- Provide leadership, coaching, training, performance management, and support to Count Team staff.
- Foster a positive, productive, and accountable work environment.
- Establish departmental standards, goals, procedures, staffing plans, and operational priorities.
- Collaborate with Surveillance and Security to maintain count procedures and drop routes.
- Oversee the secure collection, transportation, counting, and reconciliation of currency and vouchers.
- Monitor count room operations to ensure compliance with safety standards, Internal Controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain custody and control of gaming records, forms, and documentation.
- Prepare, review, and distribute required count, cash, voucher, and gaming reports.
- Coordinate minor equipment maintenance and operational readiness.
- Communicate significant operational activities, concerns, and recommendations to department leadership.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of three (3) years of finance, accounting, cash operations, or supervisory experience in gaming, hospitality, or a similar environment preferred. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and computerized business systems. Strong PC, data-entry, and ten-key skills.
Ability to make sound independent decisions and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

REGULATORY AND COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
In addition to the other duties described herein, every Team Member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations:
- Attend required training sessions offered by the casino.
- Obtain and maintain required license(s).
- Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
- Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the team member’s department.
- Have knowledge of the Property’s programs to address problem gambling.
- Consult with the appropriate individuals and maintain an effective system of written policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with gaming regulations and Internal Controls.
- Take the appropriate steps to investigate exceptions, fraud, and potential violations and report such instances to the appropriate levels of management.
- Report any acts of wrongdoing on behalf of any Team Member of which they have knowledge.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Must have ability to:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds and assist with moving carts weighing up to 400 pounds.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
- Work is performed in a secure gaming environment with moderate to loud noise levels.
- May be exposed to secondhand smoke and varying lighting conditions, including flashing lights.
- Requires active oversight of count room operations and staff throughout the shift.
