Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Collect and transport slot and table game drop boxes in accordance with established Internal Controls and procedures.
  • Count, verify, reconcile, and document currency, vouchers, and other gaming-related transactions.
  • Record count information accurately and reconcile variances with other Count Team Members.
  • Prepare and maintain required count paperwork, reports, and supporting documentation.
  • Operate count equipment and coin-processing machinery according to departmental and manufacturer standards.
  • Assist with transporting count carts and gaming assets safely and securely.
  • Verify cash transactions to and from the Cage/Cashier operation.
  • Maintain the security, integrity, and accuracy of all funds during the count process.
  • Keep supervisors informed of operational issues and relevant activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $16.00 To $16.00 Hourly

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the collection and secure transport of slot machine and table game drop boxes from the gaming floor and designated areas. Counts, verifies, reconciles, and documents currency and vouchers in accordance with company Internal Controls, established procedures, and applicable gaming regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Protect confidential information and safeguard company assets.
  • Comply with company policies, Internal Controls, gaming regulations, BSA/Title 31 requirements, and other applicable laws.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
  • Resolve issues within assigned authority and escalated concerns as appropriate.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or GED preferred. Cash-handling experience preferred.Other combinations of education and experience may be considered. Experience using Microsoft Office applications and computerized systems preferred. Ability to read, write, and comprehend basic instructions, correspondence, and documentation. Demonstrated willingness to learn new responsibilities, procedures, and systems.

REGULATORY AND COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
In addition to the other duties described herein, every Team Member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations:

  • Attend required training sessions offered by the casino.
  • Obtain and maintain required license(s).
  • Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
  • Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies and procedures relating to the team member’s department.
  • Have knowledge of the Property’s programs to address problem gambling.
  • Consult with the appropriate individuals and maintain an effective system of written policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with gaming regulations and Internal Controls.
  • Take the appropriate steps to investigate exceptions, fraud, and potential violations and report such instances to the appropriate levels of management.
  • Report any acts of wrongdoing on behalf of any Team Member of which they have knowledge.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Must have ability to:

  • Read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and documentation.
  • Stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday.
  • Lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds and assist with moving carts weighing up to 400 pounds.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
  • Work in a casino environment with exposure to flashing lights, moderate-to-high noise levels, and secondhand smoke.
  • Perform continuous movement and physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
