Job summary

Bally's Lake Tahoe is seeking a reliable staff member to assist with cash handling and daily gaming operations. You will count money, process cash through counting machines, and complete shift settlement paperwork as part of a team in a fast-paced casino environment.

The role requires strict attention to cash handling, punctual attendance, and compliance with gaming regulations. Training will cover safety, security, and company policies while supporting guest experiences during shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Able to obtain and maintain registration as a gaming employee with the State.
• Must be able to count money accurately and handle cash responsibly.
• Proficient with basic computer and printer operations.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions and memos.
• Experience with a 10-key calculator is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect money from bill validator acceptors.
• Remove unaudited money from all boxes.
• Process money through the Glory machine for counting.
• Complete shift settlement sheets and related paperwork.
• Fill out paperwork for game boxes and prepare for shipment to offsite warehouse.
• Key information into the computer.
• Keep the soft count area clean and organized.
• Ensure the safety and security of guests and employees.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance for scheduled shifts.
• Assist with knowledge of events and promotions available to guests.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Responsible for collecting bill validator acceptors.
• Responsible for taking unaudited money out of all boxes.
• Responsible for running money through the Glory machine for count.
• Filling out paperwork for game boxes and completing the shift settlement sheets.
• Keying information into the computer.
• Cleaning up of the soft count area.
• Ensure the safety and security of guest and employees.
• Responsible for regular and punctual attendance for scheduled shifts.
• Knowledge of all special events and promotional activities available to guest.
• Demonstrate ability to understand, communicate and comply with Company Policies, Processes, and Procedures.
• Assist with filing and storing departmental documents for various departments including labeling the boxes and preparing for shipment to offsite warehouse
• Other duties as assigned.
