Job summary

Sam's Town Hotel & Casino is seeking a casino floor associate to secure keys, verify jackpot winnings, and document cash activity on-site in Shreveport, LA. You will operate money counters, ride an electric cart, and maintain safety and cleanliness in assigned areas while communicating via two-way radio.

The role emphasizes accuracy, reliability, and a customer-friendly approach, supporting a secure gaming environment and compliant procedures for every transaction.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations
• Must be detail-oriented
• Able to operate electric cart and money counters
• Prior count room experience preferred
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Responsibilities

• Maintain secure key controls at all times
• Pay and/or verify jackpot winnings to customers and complete required written documentation
• Conduct slot floor activities to ensure protection of company property and funds; and maintain the safety and cleanliness of assigned areas
• Carry and effectively communicate by two-way radio
• Complete written department forms to document cash transactions, jackpot payouts, etc. in an accurate, legible manner
• Perform minor machine maintenance, such as lock and unlock machine doors, clearing jams, replenishing paper, and resetting machines
• Develop, apply, and maintain a friendly and courteous rapport with customers and employees
