Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a detail‑oriented cage cashier in Detroit to support counts, cash handling, and adherence to gaming regulations. You will work with a diverse team to ensure accurate cash reconciliation and secure drop box handling.

The role requires strong communication skills, English proficiency, and the ability to operate cage equipment while maintaining compliance with state and company policies. Local policy governs PTO and benefits as part of Total Rewards.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of state, federal and company rules and procedures.
• Ability to balance and reconcile cash and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Counts and balances pit, slot and controlled counts as needed.
• Reconciles cash, markers, inventory and adheres to Gaming Control Regulations.
• Remove and replace drop boxes from slot machines and place on storage cart.
• Remove count room drop boxes from storage cart.
• Open count room drop boxes and empty contents on count tables.
• Show empty drop boxes to count room team and TV surveillance cameras.
• Separate currency from paperwork and bundle for verification.
• Complete paperwork and audits in count room.
• Reset table drop box and slot currency on drop boxes.
• Maintain control of sensitive keys and comply with procedures.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
