Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a Count Team member to support casino operations, handling cash, ticket cassettes, and drop box contents with strong attention to detail.

The role requires basic math, cash handling, and the ability to stand and move heavy boxes for long shifts. A LA gaming license is required, and prior count-room exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months to 1 year Count Team experience preferred but not required.
• Basic mathematical skills; 10-Key calculator experience a plus.
• Must obtain LA gaming license.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, stoop, bend, pull, and carry heavy boxes throughout the duration of shift.

Responsibilities

• Collect cash and ticket cassettes from slot machines and monies from table game drop boxes; transport all collected boxes to the Count Room.
• Sign out keys for count and drop duties to ensure key control procedures are followed.
• Accurately count table drops and reconcile paperwork to the system reports for table transactions.
• Operate currency counters, adding machines, and other auditing functions.
• Complete daily maintenance of all count room equipment, including cleaning of the count room.
• Ensure company assets are properly accounted for and secured.
