Job summary

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) in Henderson, Texas, is seeking a full-time clerical specialist to support the count room and related records. The position pays $16 per hour and follows a Monday–Friday day shift, with a comprehensive benefits package.

You will handle data entry, input offenders into databases, maintain logs, and perform proofreading and document processing while safeguarding inmate confidentiality and complying with TD CJ directives.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited senior high school or equivalent or GED.
• One year related experience including word processing or computer data entry.
• Valid driver’s license in Texas with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform clerical tasks and procedures related to the count room in compliance with directives.
• Input incoming offenders into and remove outgoing offenders from databases.
• Track hours offenders work in assigned jobs and maintain records.
• Operate office equipment and perform data entry for accurate records.
• Assist in processing incoming/outgoing inmates and prepare intake forms.
• Proofread documents, copy information between records, and maintain confidentiality.
