Salary Range: $10.00 To $10.00 Hourly
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for preparing and serving beverages, engaging with guests, and contributing to an exceptional casino experience. Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and adherence to responsible alcohol service standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides next-level guest service to internal and external guests. Demonstrates the Cedar Crossing culture in all interactions with guests and co-workers.
- Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information in accordance with established procedures with company policy and state regulations.
- Ensures compliance with all department and company policies, procedures, internal controls, and government regulations.
- Responsible for creating and fostering an environment of support and motivation for Team Members.
- Prepares and serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages—including cocktails, beer, wine, and specialty drinks—according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Ensures consistency, accuracy, and quality in all drink preparation.
- Provides exceptional guest service by taking orders, offering recommendations, and engaging in friendly, professional interactions.
- Accurately handles cash and credit transactions, processes payments, and provides correct change.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and sanitary bar area in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Cleans and sanitizes glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.
- Monitors beverage inventory and restocks supplies to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Reports inventory shortages or discrepancies to management promptly.
- Stays knowledgeable about the casino's drink menu, promotions, and specials; actively promote featured offerings.
- Follows responsible alcohol service guidelines, monitors guest behavior, and refuses service to intoxicated individuals when necessary.
- Verifies guest identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance.
- Complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and casino policies related to alcohol service and responsible gaming.
- Resolves problems that are within the position's scope of authority and recommends courses of action to resolve problems that are beyond the scope of authority to the position's supervisor.
- Keeps position supervisor informed of relevant activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or customer service training preferred. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered. Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills. Basic math skills for handling payments and calculating bills. Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

- Work in an intense and fast-paced environment where a high degree of concentration is necessary to perform required job duties.

REGULATORY AND COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
In addition to the other duties described herein, every Team Member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations:
- Attend required training sessions offered by the casino.
- Obtain and maintain required license(s).
- Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
- Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the team member's department.
- Have knowledge of the Property's programs to address problem gambling.
- Consult with the appropriate individuals and maintain an effective system of written policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with gaming regulations and Internal Controls.
- Take the appropriate steps to investigate exceptions, fraud, and potential violations and report such instances to the appropriate levels of management.
- Report any acts of wrongdoing on behalf of any Team Member of which they have knowledge.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

- Sit or stand for extended amounts of time.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
