Job summary

BAART Programs in Durham, NC seeks a Compassionate Substance Use Counseling Supervisor to oversee counselors and interns, ensuring compliant delivery of treatment and timely documentation aligned with plan of care.

The supervisor will identify patients' physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs, manage expenditures within budget, travel as needed, and support staff with AI-assisted documentation tools to enhance care quality.

Qualifications

• Must hold LMSW, LCSW, or LPC license.
• Ability to develop comprehensive treatment plans and chart accurately; strong oral and written communication skills.
• Previous experience working with chemically dependent individuals is a plus.
• Demonstrates a positive, non-judgmental attitude toward patients.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Counselors and Counselor Interns who provide treatment and casework services in compliance with laws and policies.
• Ensure timely documentation of patient services based on plan of care.

Position at BAART Programs Compassionate Substance Use Counseling Supervisor Needed! The Counselor Supervisor will supervise the Counselors and Counselor Interns who provide treatment and casework services to patients in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and with BayMark’s policies and procedures. The counselor supervisor will ensure timely documentation of patient services based on plan of care. Must identify other physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs for assigned patients.

Essential Job Functions

• Supervise the Counselors and Counselor Interns who provide treatment and casework services to patients in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and the BayMark’s policies and procedures.
• Ensure timely documentation of patient services based on plan of care.
• Identify other physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs for assigned patients.
• Ensure compliance with all company and funding expectations.
• Manage related expenditures in a fiscally responsible manner in accordance with the company's budget.
• Travel as necessary.
• Other related duties as determined by supervisor

Qualifications
