Job summary

BayMark Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Compassionate Substance Use Counseling Supervisor to oversee Counselors and Interns, ensuring treatment and casework services comply with laws and BayMark policies. The role emphasizes timely documentation and holistic patient needs assessment within plan of care.

The supervisor will guide clinical documentation, support high-quality patient care, and uphold program compliance, while traveling as needed to deliver services and supervision across clinics.

Qualifications

• Must hold LMSW, LCSW, or LPC license.
• Ability to develop comprehensive treatment plans and chart accurately; excellent oral and written communication.
• Experience with chemically dependent individuals a plus.
• Positive, non-judgmental attitude toward patients.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Counselors and Counselor Interns who provide treatment and casework services.
• Ensure timely documentation of patient services based on plan of care.
• Identify other physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs for assigned patients.
• Ensure compliance with all company and funding expectations.
• Manage related expenditures in a fiscally responsible manner in accordance with the company's budget.

The counselor supervisor will ensure timely documentation of patient services based on plan of care. Must identify other physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs for assigned patients.

• Manage related expenditures in a fiscally responsible manner in accordance with the company's budget.
• Travel as necessary.
• Other related duties as determined by supervisor

Qualifications

• Must hold one of the following licenses: LMSW, LCSW, or LPC.
• Ability to develop comprehensive treatment plans and chart accurately and excellent oral and written communication skills are also required
• Previous experience working with chemically dependent individuals a plus.
• Must demonstrate a positive, non-judgmental, and accepting attitude toward our patient population
