Job summary

The Recovery Village in Salem, Oregon is hiring a residential behavioral health therapist to provide individual, group, and family therapy in a supportive setting. The role includes biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and collaboration with medical teams.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s in behavioral health and relevant credentials (CADC, QMHA/QMHP, CSWA/LPCA/LMFT/LCSW/LPC) as applicable. Weekend shifts and US work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in behavioral health field required or preferred.
• CADC I/II/III credentials required or preferred.
• QMHA/QMHP credentials and CADC consideration preferred.
• CSWA/LPCA/LMFT/LCSW/LPC credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy in a residential treatment setting.
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitate group sessions and psychoeducation.
• Collaborate with medical, psychiatric, and clinical teams to support patient progress.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation (with support from Heather AI).
• Support discharge planning and continuity of care.

Job Responsibilities

Requirements

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field preferred.
• Minimum one (1) year of work experience in the behavioral health field required.
• Experience facilitating groups required.
• Experience conducting individual sessions preferred.
• State SUD certification required if education is equivalent to High School or Bachelor’s level.
• Credentials may include:
  • CADC I, II, or III required
  • QMHA or QMHP and willing to obtain a CADC preferred
  • CSWA, LPCA, LMFT, LCSW, LPC preferred
• CPR-AED and First Aid certification required.
• Availability to work weekend shifts on either a Sun–Thurs schedule or a Tues–Sat schedule required.
• Experience with specific treatment focus areas or patient populations preferred.
• Eligible to work in the United States required.
