Job summary

Advanced Recovery Systems, LLC is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) to join The Recovery Village Salem in Salem, Oregon. In this leadership role, you will mentor nursing staff, drive clinical excellence, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality behavioral health care to patients and their families.

You'll oversee daily nursing operations, regulatory compliance, staffing coordination, and patient-centered outcomes while modeling

Qualifications

  • Licensed RN with current state licensure.
  • Leadership experience in a behavioral health setting preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise daily nursing operations to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
  • Mentor, coach, and supervise nursing and behavioral health staff.
  • Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and workflows to support patient needs.
  • Oversee medication management, pharmacy coordination, and supply inventory.
  • Monitor infection prevention practices and conduct quality audits.
  • Coordinate admissions, discharges, transfers, and lab services.

We're seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) to join our leadership team at The Recovery Village Salem in Salem, Oregon.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and support daily nursing operations to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
  • Mentor, coach, and supervise nursing and behavioral health staff
  • Partner with the Director of Nursing to maintain clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and quality standards
  • Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and operational workflows to support patient needs
  • Oversee medication management, pharmacy coordination, and nursing supply inventory
  • Monitor infection prevention practices and conduct quality assurance audits
  • Coordinate admissions, discharges, transfers, laboratory services, and continuity of care
  • Ensure accurate clinical documentation and compliance within AVATAR
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and external healthcare partners to provide seamless patient care
  • Support emergency preparedness and maintain safe staffing during critical situations
  • Assist with specialty programs, including Vivitrol coordination, as assigned
  • Serve as the Director of Nursing in their absence when needed

Requirements
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, licensed as a Registered Nurse as indicated in State law, higher education preferred
  • Minimum two years' experience as a Licensed Registered Nurse. Behavioral health experience preferred
  • Licensed to practice in the State of practice.
