Job summary

Behavioral Health Network is seeking a Counselor-Case Manager to join the Springfield Center team and empower individuals to live healthier, more fulfilling lives. You will provide direct and indirect services to support growth, independence, and safety, and develop treatment plans within a recovery-focused environment.

The role requires 1–2 years in human services and a high school diploma or GED; a valid driver’s license is required, with LADCI or LADCII preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of experience in human services is required.
• At least one year of experience in a substance treatment environment is required.
• LADCI or LADCII or equivalent is preferred.
• Familiarity with Internet, word processing and email systems is expected.

Responsibilities

• Support the growth, independence, and safety of individuals served through direct and indirect services.
• Document comprehensive assessments and develop & implement treatment plans.
• Oversee and provide guidance and direct counseling, including psycho-educational groups.
• Ensure compliance and provide the best recovery-based environment possible.
• Collaborate with program staff to deliver high quality clinical treatment.
• Complete documentation and forms regarding individuals and their care in a timely fashion.
• Address licensing, funding, safety, and maintenance concerns.
• Provide transportation, crisis intervention, and emergency services when needed.
