Job summary

Spectrum Health Systems is seeking a Counselor for the Inpatient CSS Program in Lowell, MA. The role involves providing documented individual and group clinical services and case management to clients with mental health, substance use, or dual diagnosis issues.

The position requires a bachelor's degree and at least one year of supervised counseling experience in substance abuse or related fields. Proficiency with electronic health records is expected, with LADC I or CADAC certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills to utilize electronic health records (EHR).

Responsibilities

• Provide documented individual and group clinical services and case management to clients with mental health, substance abuse, or dual diagnosis problems.
• Perform intake assessments and complete all documentation within required timeframes.
• Develop, implement, and revise individual treatment plans with client participation.
• Demonstrate interpersonal skills to interact with clients, staff, families, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
