Invenergy LLC, headquartered in Chicago, IL, seeks a Contracts Counsel to support and expand its contract management function. This role reviews, negotiates and processes high-volume commercial contracts across the enterprise, aligning with risk parameters and company precedent.
The position also drives improvements to contract review processes, develops form agreements, and leverages AI tools for efficiency. Regular collaboration with non-legal teams provides guidance on contract processes.

The Contracts Counsel will support and expand Invenergy’s contract management function within the Legal Department. This role is responsible for reviewing, negotiating and processing a variety of high‑volume commercial contracts used across the enterprise by the Invenergy’s business.
The Contracts Counsel will also play a key role in updating and improving contract review processes, developing and maintaining form agreements and leveraging technology (including AI tools) to enhance efficiency and scalability within the Legal Department. This role requires regular engagement with non‑legal departments to provide guidance and training on Invenergy’s contract processes.
This position is on‑site at Invenergy's downtown Chicago, IL office.
$155,000.00 - $180,000.00 USD Annual
Bonus: 25% - 40%
The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education and skills.
