Job summary

Cross Keys Village – The Brethren Home Community is seeking a skilled Cottage Maintenance Technician to support campus upkeep and resident care in a part-time role with access to CKV's full-time benefits; enjoy a friendly, values-driven environment. Responsibilities include HVAC maintenance, minor repairs, and preventative tasks across a large senior living campus. A valid driver’s license, a high school diploma, and good customer service are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, trade or equivalent vocational training, or 3-5 years applicable experience in a maintenance trade.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must possess the ability to read and interpret blueprints, good math and reading skills, and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on pumps, fans, heat exchangers, valves and HVAC equipment.
• Perform major corrective maintenance on air handlers, fans, coils, controls and other building systems.
• Maintain assigned mechanical rooms and work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
• Perform corrective residential repairs to sinks, toilets, dishwashers, refrigerators, hot water heaters and electrical appliances.
• Install ceiling fans, light fixtures and plumbing fixtures as requested.
• Maintain inventory and supplies for cottage repairs.
• Respond to snow removal per CKV’s Snow Removal policy.
