Job summary

Clover Health Services in Hayward, California is hiring a Therapist, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support patients within our rehab program. The role supports treatment plans, helps develop daily living skills, and documents progress during the 13-week assignment.

Shifts run 07:00 AM to 03:01 PM starting 2026-08-31. This entry-level posting requires ACOTE-accredited OTA training with Level I/II fieldwork; NBCOT-COTA certification and BLS/CPR are preferred.

Qualifications

• NBCOT-COTA certification is required.
• COTA-L licensure in states requiring licensure.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree from ACOTE-accredited OTA program required.
• Level I and Level II Fieldwork components (minimum 24 weeks total).
• No prior experience required for entry-level.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans and help patients perform therapeutic activities.
• Provide direct support in developing social and daily living skills.
• Collect and assess patient information.
• Instruct patients and families in treatment techniques.
• Monitor performance and provide encouragement.
• Document patient progress.
• Maintain treatment records.
• Perform clerical tasks.
