TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Hayward, California. The OTA will work under the supervision of an OT to help patients develop, improve, or recover daily living and work-related skills.

Responsibilities include delivering therapeutic activities, monitoring progress, documenting performance, assisting with exercises and mobility training, and educating patients and families.

Formación

• 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Current NBCOT COTA certification and BLS certification.
• State licensure is required.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver therapeutic activities and interventions as directed by the supervising OT.
• Monitor patient progress and report observations to the OT to support plan adjustments.
• Document patient performance and progress per guidelines in a timely manner.
• Assist patients with exercises, mobility training, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Educate patients and families on techniques to improve independence in daily activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated care.
• Comply with state licensing rules and adhere to facility and professional standards.
