Job summary

A healthcare service provider in Stockton, CA, is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team. In this role, you will assist in implementing therapy plans under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Responsibilities include conducting therapy sessions, monitoring client progress, and educating clients and their families. Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current certification as a COTA in California.
• Previous experience with individuals having physical, cognitive, or developmental challenges is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions as directed.
• Monitor and document client progress, reporting to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Educate clients and families on continued progress and exercises.
