Job summary

Manchester Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Morrison, TN is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for full-time and PRN roles. The OTA will provide treatment under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist and contribute to care plans while documenting progress and communicating with the supervising OT.

Excellent patient service, clinical excellence, and timely documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under supervision of Occupational Therapist
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred but not limited to.
• Well versed with documentation writing
• Document patient’s progress on weekly progress note in a timely fashion.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care.
• Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence
• Report to work on time, adhere to scheduled hours and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatments under supervision of the OT
• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under supervision of OT
• Document patient progress weekly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team
• Maintain punctuality and professionalism
• Deliver high-quality patient-centered care

• Adhere to facility policies and protocols
