Job summary

Manchester Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for full-time and PRN positions. Under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist, you will carry out treatments and help meet patient-specific goals for residents in our long-term care facility.

The successful candidate will document progress weekly, collaborate with the rehab team, and maintain professional standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under supervision of Occupational Therapist
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred
• Well versed with documentation writing
• Document patient’s progress on weekly progress note in a timely fashion.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatments under OT supervision.
• Document progress weekly and maintain records.
• Collaborate with rehab team to ensure patient-centered care.
• Perform duties as assigned by Director of Rehabilitation and adhere to policies.
