Job summary

AdviniaCare is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Rhode Island. You will help patients regain independence by assisting in the development and execution of individualized treatment plans in a supportive clinical setting.

As part of the care team, you will conduct assessments, contribute to therapy interventions, and educate patients and families to promote long-term wellness and functional independence.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patients' strengths and needs.
• Design and implement OT interventions to improve daily living activities and cognitive function.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and maintain patient records.
• Provide education and support to patients and families to promote healthy habits and long-term independence.
