Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a current COTA certification, graduated from an accredited OTA program, and demonstrates strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct assessments to identify patients' strengths, weaknesses, and needs.
• Design and implement occupational therapy interventions to improve activities of daily living, cognitive function, and overall well-being.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
• Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers to promote healthy habits and long-term independence.
