Job summary

AdviniaCare is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Pawtucket, RI. You will assist therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans to help patients regain independence.

As a COTA, you will assess progress, support patients and families, and collaborate with a care team to deliver compassionate rehabilitation in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient strengths and needs.
• Design and implement occupational therapy interventions to improve ADLs and cognitive function.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and maintain records.
• Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers to promote independence.
