Job summary

Richland Nursing and Rehab in Johnstown, PA is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support residents' rehabilitation goals in a variety of settings within the facility.

You will assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans, provide interventions, conduct assessments, document progress, and collaborate with the care team to promote independence in daily living for residents.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Degree in Occupational Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in the development, implementation, and evaluation of treatment plans
• Provide occupational therapy interventions, including exercises, activities, and adaptive equipment training
• Conduct assessments and reassessments to measure resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Communicate effectively with occupational therapists, other healthcare professionals, and family members to ensure seamless care
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident progress and treatment plans
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to resident care
