Job summary

HealthPRO Heritage offers a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (PRN) opportunity in long-term care. You will support treatment plans, assist with daily living activities, and document progress under supervision of an Occupational Therapist to ensure quality patient care.

This PRN role features $30–$35 hourly pay based on experience, with growth opportunities, a collaborative team culture, and a mission-driven environment dedicated to compassionate therapy and community impact.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with NBCOT.
• Current state licensure or eligibility to practice as a COTA.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized therapy based on plans developed by the Occupational Therapist, including activities to improve daily living skills.
• Track and document patient progress, maintaining accurate records per facility policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and educate patients and families on exercises and adaptive strategies.
• Lead or assist patients with exercises and activities of daily living while maintaining a positive environment.
