Job summary

HealthPro Heritage in Falls Church, VA is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support therapy services in our newly remodeled Assisted Living and Memory Care facility. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care and implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.

This role offers hourly compensation of $34-$38 and flexibility to work as needed, making it ideal for therapists seeking versatile scheduling

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program from an accredited school.
• Certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) through NBCOT.
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a COTA.
• Experience in an occupational therapy setting preferred, new graduates encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized therapy based on treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Assist with activities of daily living and therapeutic exercises to improve independence.
• Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and report changes to the Occupational Therapist.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to educate patients and families.
