Job summary

Hemet Hills Post-Acute is seeking Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) for both full-time and part-time opportunities in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to support residents in regaining independence and daily living skills.

The role requires an Associate degree from an accredited program, current COTA license, CPR certification, and strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate degree or higher from an accredited COTA program.
• Current, active COTA license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain during orientation.
• Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute rehab is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under supervision of a licensed OT.
• Assist residents in improving mobility, self-care, and functional skills.
• Document resident progress and communicate updates to the therapy team.
• Provide education and support to residents and families throughout rehab.
• Collaborate with nursing and therapy teams to promote outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with facility, state, and federal regulations.
