Job summary

Simpsonville Post Acute seeks a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered therapy under the direction of an Occupational Therapist. The role supports residents in a skilled nursing setting within our network.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, documenting progress, and collaborating with the care team to ensure smooth discharge planning and education for caregivers.

Qualifications

• Active COTA license in SC in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred.
• Familiarity with PCC and Casamba preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy treatments as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Follow physician treatment plans and care goals.
• Assist with documentation of daily treatments and progress notes.
• Support interdisciplinary team communication regarding resident progress.
• Assist with discharge planning and caregiver education.
• Maintain clean, safe therapy areas and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with state practice act and facility policies.
