Job summary

AMG Specialty Hospital- Albuquerque is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to support the Occupational Therapist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans. The PRN clinician will deliver therapy per supervisor guidance and physician orders in a long‑term acute care setting.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Occupational Therapy, NM license in good standing, current BLS, and proficient English communication; additional languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy school.
• Maintains a current New Mexico State License in good standing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Additional languages are desirable.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in developing individual treatment programs.
• Administer occupational therapy treatments as directed by the Occupational Therapist and physician.
• Follow physician orders and maintain patient care documentation.
