Job summary

Eastern New Mexico Medical Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to support rehabilitation for children and adults under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. You will help implement treatment plans, observe progress, and contribute to continuity of care in line with individualized plans.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year healthcare experience required.
• 1–2 years clinical experience in inpatient, outpatient, or SNF preferred.
• COTA license and BLS certification required.

• Administers OT treatment programs under supervision.
• Observes patient response and reports changes to the supervising therapist.
• Conducts group or individual therapy sessions to support function.
• Documents treatments and patient progress in the medical record.
• Maintains clean, safe treatment areas and equipment.
