Job summary

WelbeHealth is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join the interdisciplinary Rehabilitation team in Elk Grove, CA. Under the Occupational Therapist, you will deliver restorative OT services to participants at the center and in home settings to maximize independence and safety in ADLs.

You will collaborate with therapists and providers, maintain documentation, and support care plans with limited patient volume to foster strong participant relationships and work-life

Qualifications

• OTA associate’s degree from an accredited program.
• Valid California OTA license, or proof of license eligibility.
• OTA knowledge to treat frail, elderly participants with complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Administer participant treatment programs as established by the Occupational Therapist.
• Assist the Occupational Therapist in obtaining vital signs, ROM, and strength testing.
• Coordinate with Rehabilitation team to implement activities per individual plans.
• Handle scheduling of treatments, clinical visits, and billing.
• Document occupational therapy interventions to promote independence in ADLs.
