Job summary

Independence Rehab is seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join the team at Bethany at Pacific in Everett, WA. You will work within a skilled nursing facility, supporting residents through rehabilitation and long-term care goals.

Applicants should hold a Washington State OTA license, have an associate degree, and be organized, patient-focused, with an interest in geriatrics. SNF experience is preferred while enthusiasm for growth is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State Occupational Therapy Assistant license in good standing.
• Associate degree from an accredited OTA program.
• Organized, self-motivated, and patient-focused.
• Passion for working with the geriatric population.
• One year of SNF experience preferred, but newer clinicians with strong interest in geriatrics are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Support residents through rehabilitation, recovery, and long-term care.
• Work collaboratively with the therapy team.
• Provide adaptive ADL retraining and functional task practice.
• Collaborate with the evaluating OT and interdisciplinary care team.
• Engage in competency training to support growth.

Independence Rehab is actively seeking a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our therapy team at Bethany at Pacific, a well-regarded skilled nursing facility located inside of Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett, WA.

About the Role

As a COTA in a skilled nursing setting, you'll work collaboratively with the therapy team to support residents through rehabilitation, recovery, and long-term care-helping them achieve meaningful progress and improved quality of life.

SNF Practice Highlights

• Treat a diverse caseload, including occasional clinically complex patients

• Perform and assist with all types of transfers

• Provide adaptive ADL retraining and functional task practice

• Collaborate closely with the evaluating OT and interdisciplinary care team
