Synchrony Rehab at Carteret House is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA). Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist you will help implement treatment plans, assist with exercises, ADL training, and adaptive techniques to improve functional independence.

This role emphasizes documentation, collaboration with interdisciplinary team, patient and family education, and ongoing assessment. OTA licensure and CPR are preferred; 0-1 years experience acceptable.

Formación

• Education: Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program
• Experience: 0-1 years
• Licenses and Certifications: OTA licensure or certification; CPR preferred

Responsabilidades

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans by occupational therapists.
• Help patients with exercises, ADL training, and adaptive techniques.
• Observe and document patient responses and progress.
• Educate patients and families on home exercises and strategies to support progress.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Support therapists in evaluating needs and progress with additional observations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
