Job summary

Quality Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver best practice treatments under OT supervision in a long-term care setting. You will provide therapy aligned to OT-developed goals and document progress for timely review by the supervising therapist.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under supervision of the OT.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred but not required.
• Well versed with documentation writing.
• Document patient progress on weekly progress notes in a timely fashion.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient-centered treatment and care.
• Demonstrates exceptional patient service and clinical excellence.
• Report to work on time and adhere to scheduled hours.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out best practice treatments under OT supervision.
• Provide treatment per goals developed by OT.
• Provide feedback to supervising OT via documentation or other facility-required methods.
