Job summary

German Centre in Boston, MA is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support our rehabilitation program. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of $35.00–$42.00 and is PRN as needed.

You will implement treatment plans, monitor progress, document responses, and educate patients and families under supervision. Qualified applicants hold a Massachusetts COTA license, have strong communication skills, and prefer 1 year of rehab or healthcare experience; CPR is a plus.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts COTA license required
• 1-year experience in rehab, skilled nursing, or healthcare settings preferred
• CPR certification preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate fluently in English—verbal and written

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans as established by the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities and daily living skills
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the Occupational Therapist
• Document treatments and patient responses accurately and timely in accordance with state and facility guidelines
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and care team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment
