Job summary

German Centre in Boston, MA is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to implement treatment plans, provide targeted interventions to improve daily living skills, and monitor patient progress under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

This PRN position offers hourly compensation ranging from $35 to $42 based on experience, with comprehensive benefits for eligible roles and a collegial, patient‑focused team environment near major highways and MBTA access.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts COTA license in good standing.
• 1 year of experience in rehab, skilled nursing, or healthcare preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans as established by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities and daily living skills.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the Occupational Therapist.
• Document treatments and patient responses accurately and timely per state and facility guidelines.
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and care teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment.
