Job summary

German Centre is seeking a PRN COTA to implement and monitor occupational therapy plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team to support functional outcomes. The role emphasizes safety, accurate documentation, and timely communication of progress to supervising therapists.

Applicants should hold a Massachusetts COTA license in good standing, with 1 year of rehab or healthcare experience preferred and CPR certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts COTA license in good standing.
• 1 year experience in rehab, skilled nursing, or healthcare preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans as established by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities and daily living skills.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the Occupational Therapist.
• Document treatments and patient responses accurately and timely in accordance with state and facility guidelines.
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and care team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment.
