Harmony Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in Fitzgerald, GA. You will work under an Occupational Therapist to implement treatment plans and provide skilled therapy to residents, aiming to improve daily living activities and independence.

You will document treatments, monitor progress, and communicate with the supervising OT. The role includes educating residents and families on exercises, adaptive strategies, and home safety to promote

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current and valid COTA licensure.
• CPR certification required (or must obtain upon hire).
• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.

Mansioni

• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans designed by the OT.
• Provide OT interventions including ADL training, adaptive equipment use, and mobility tasks.
• Document residents' treatments, progress, and responses per standards.
• Communicate progress to supervising OT and suggest plan modifications.
• Educate residents and families on exercises and home safety techniques.
